Dish Restaurant

This is a great restaurant!!! We enjoy coming here after we visit Descanso Gardens since it is very nearby. The food is always fresh and delicious. We ordered some onion rings to share that were very good! I like the breakfasts too!! Very friendly service! Enjoyed birthday ice cream treat!! I will be going back!

The food was great and the service was too, except for the fact that the server kept dropping the check instead of offering more drinks. We were here for brunch and wanted more mimosas and so maybe they wanted to turn the table, but perhaps just ask before you leave the check because it happened twice. The vibe is really homey, people are nice, definitely a great place to spend a lazy Sunday.

New favorite restaurant and waitress (Polina rocks!). Ordered the 50 unlimited starters and got to try a little bit of everything. Tuna, corn and Brussels were top tier, wish I had room for more. The smoked cocktail was also next level.

Great breakfast spot. I took my dad here for Father's day, and had a great experience.

Sonya our wonderful waitress was so sweet and kind to us. We got seated and saw Frankie and Dave, our other waiters from earlier meals, but we were happy to meet Sonya. We were here in Saturday which is BBQ night. I ordeed a rib eye steak and got garlic asparagus and a salad. Mom got her favorite Ginger chicken salad. We enjoyed our meals immensely! We were so full We couldn't get dessert but their key lime pie is our favorite !

Stopped by while looking for a nice place to have lunch in the La Canada area. There were a lot of choices on Foothill Blvd, but Dish caught my eye. Walked in and was immediately seated. There was a separate menu for breakfast and lunch, but I asked for both as I wanted to see my options. Wanted something light so ordered the Farmer's Market salad and the SoCal Eggs Benedict. Also, ordered the Lava Michelada. Shortly after ordering my food, a local friend recommended I order the Banana pancakes. I didn't want to change my order at this point, so it's on the to do list for my next visit. Food came out within 15 minutes and was plated well. Both items were put together with detail and were visually appealing. Salad was very fresh and full of all the different ingredients. The SoCal eggs benedict was very good. The egg was cooked perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was very flavorful. The avocado and tomato was a nice twist on the classic eggs benedict. Service was fast and efficient. Will definitely come back to try the banana pancakes next time.

I wanted to take my mom to breakfast and found this cute little but really not little place located on Foothill Blvd. I loved the eclectic collection of tables and chairs and the rustic flair. The fact that they had booths going around the circular windows made the atmosphere fill airy. I appreciated how the seating was spaced so that I could have a conversation and not be interrupted by the table next to me. Martine made the amazing suggestion of having the chorizo and eggs, which I paired with a short stack of pancakes and bacon for my mom and I to share. I've eaten chorizo and eggs my whole life, but I have never had them taste as delicious as they did at Dish. I was really tempted to try their Bloody Mary. However, that's a meal in itself, and I was there for breakfast with my mom. So, instead, we had coffee and water. The coffee, a smooth, rich bold flavor. I just wanted more. I need to find out what brand it is because I failed to take note of it. So, if you are in the area and want some spot on, delicious food, you need to stop at Dish. You will not be disappointed. Ate lunch, all the food was top notch. The staff was courteous and quick. Will eat here again in the future for sure. P.S., try the carrot cake.
